Artificial intelligence is becoming an increasingly important part of modern learning, education and work. Understanding its possibilities, limitations and responsible use is therefore essential for high-quality, independent and effective learning.
As part of the week of content dedicated to artificial intelligence and education, DOBA University of Applied Sciences is organising a specialised webinar for everyone who wants to use artificial intelligence as an effective learning aid:
Special emphasis will be placed on the difference between meaningful use of artificial intelligence as a learning aid and inappropriate use, where technology replaces independent thinking and may, in the long term, hinder the development of knowledge and competences.
The webinar will be delivered by Dr Andreja Lavrič, who holds a doctorate in educational sciences and lectures in educational psychology and higher education didactics at the University of Ljubljana and DOBA University of Applied Sciences. At the Centre for Pedagogical Education of the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana, she provides training for teachers. In her work, she uses modern pedagogical approaches, including active learning methods, e-learning and the use of artificial intelligence. She is the author of numerous professional articles and co-author of the monographs Lecture as Communication and Psychosocial Support in Disasters and Other Crisis Events. She works with EDUCA.
Artificial intelligence can improve the way we learn – if we know how to use it thoughtfully and responsibly.
Join the webinar and discover how you can use it to support your learning, understanding and development of your own knowledge.
