Dr Marina Letonja, Head and Coordinator of the Ecosys4you project at DOBA University of Applied Sciences, also participated in the final event of the Interreg Danube WE.Circular – Women Shaping Circular Futures project, which took place in Graz, Austria, on 20 May 2026.
The event brought together partners, experts, companies, support organisations and decision-makers from the Danube Region, and opened an important space for discussion on the role of women in the circular and digital transition.
Dr Letonja presented the experiences of the Ecosys4you – Engaging Entrepreneurial Ecosystems for the Youth project, which connects young people, mentors, startups and entrepreneurial ecosystems into an international learning and development community. She placed special emphasis on the role of mentoring, inclusive support environments, international cooperation and practical learning in strengthening young people’s entrepreneurial confidence.
The key message of the presentation was that entrepreneurial ecosystems are not built only on infrastructure or funding, but above all on people, trust, connections and opportunities for active participation.
