FINPOWER Project Receives the European Innovative Teaching Award 2026

We are proud to announce that the FINPOWER – Empowering Women in Sustainable Finance through Micro Learning project has received the prestigious European Innovative Teaching Award (EITA) 2026 for innovative approaches to adult education. The project was led by our lecturer, Dr Anita Maček, at FH JOANNEUM University of Applied Sciences in Graz.

The FINPOWER project focused on strengthening women’s financial literacy, particularly among those facing economic and social challenges. The project partners developed innovative educational materials, digital tools and learning methods to help women make better financial decisions, achieve greater financial independence and participate more actively in society and the economy.

We are proud that DOBA University of Applied Sciences was also an important project partner, contributing its expertise to the development of modern and inclusive learning approaches.

The EITA 2026 award confirms the quality of international cooperation and the social importance of a project that addressed one of the key competencies of modern society – financial literacy.
