Dr Marijana Ribičić, PhD, DOBA UAS (2025), will deliver a guest lecture in the master’s course Intellectual Property, titled “Intellectual Property in the PropTech Sector.”
As part of the webinar, Dr Ribičić will present current challenges and opportunities related to protecting innovation in the PropTech sector, drawing on the findings of her doctoral research. The lecture combines academic knowledge with practical insights into managing intellectual property in a rapidly evolving technological environment.
How are intangible assets valued?
Trademarks, patents, and industrial designs are no longer just legal concepts. They are becoming balance sheet assets, competitive advantages, and key drivers of business growth, licensing, and sales. Dr. Ribičić will also present findings from a study covering 5,535 PropTech companies, with a focus on practical intellectual property management strategies.
Such lectures enable DOBA UAS to directly integrate current research findings into the learning process, providing students with insights into the latest industry trends and challenges.
