A specialist thematic article entitled Postdigital Adult Education Blended Learning, Digital Readiness, and Inclusion in Volunteer Firefighter Training has been published in the academic journal Studies in Adult Education and Learning. It was co-authored by Dr Andreja Lavrič, a lecturer and researcher at DOBA University of Applied Sciences, and Anže Bitenc, a graduate of the master's programme Innovation Management in Social and Education Sector.
In the article, the authors explore opportunities for introducing blended e-learning into the training of volunteer firefighters in Slovenia. They pay particular attention to digital readiness, accessibility of education and the integration of online learning with practical training in the field.
The article raises important questions about how modern educational approaches can support more effective and accessible adult training. We warmly congratulate both authors on their publication!
