The Slovenian Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (NAKVIS) accredited the new professional bachelor study programme Informatics and Management on 20 November 2025. We will begin delivering it in the 2026/2027 academic year.
The programme was developed in response to the needs of the modern business and social environment, where informatics plays an increasingly important role in the functioning of organisations. Today, digital technologies support data analytics, process automation, the development of artificial intelligence (AI), the creation of digital solutions and the introduction of new business models.
Informatics and Management is an interdisciplinary bachelor professional study programme that connects the fields of informatics, AI, digital strategies, management and business. It is designed to enable students to acquire practical and up-to-date knowledge for understanding technology, business processes and leading digital change in organisations. The programme is aimed to develop experts who are able to connect technological and managerial knowledge and strategically guide companies in this rapidly changing digital environment.
The study follows national and European strategic orientations for digital development. It enables students to gradually upgrade their competences – from understanding information systems, business and management to more advanced content in the fields of AI, cyber security, databases, project management, digital agility and ethics in the digital environment.
