When Jaka was considering continuing his studies, he did not have a detailed ten-year plan. He did not know exactly where his path would lead. But he did know one thing – he wanted knowledge that would be practical, useful and different. He wanted an environment where theory was closely connected with real-life experience.
Enrolling was a decision based not on complete certainty, but on instinct. Today, he says it was one of the better decisions he has made.
During his studies, he gradually began to discover what genuinely interested him. He developed critical thinking skills, learned how to analyse situations, work as part of a team and take responsibility. His studies gave him not only knowledge, but also confidence – the belief that he could face demanding challenges and find solutions.
An important part of his experience was the practical component. Working with real-life cases helped him connect theory with everyday life. That was also the point at which his further academic interests began to take shape.
Today, Jaka is continuing his studies with a master programme in Psychology. When reflecting on his journey, he emphasises that his studies helped him gain clarity. They did not give him all the answers, but they gave him the tools to find those answers himself.
His greatest personal insight? You do not need to have everything figured out in advance. It is enough to take the first step. His message is:
When you find your why, every how reveals itself.
Jaka completed the bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology.
He was also awarded the title of Best Graduate in the Bachelor’s Programmes for the 2024/2025 academic year.
