Already during his studies, Enej was driven by a desire to develop a broader understanding of business. He was interested not only in how something is done, but why it works – how to build a system, structure processes and turn an idea into a tangible result.
He assessed every piece of knowledge through the lens of practice. How can this be applied? How can it be improved? How can it create added value? This approach ensured that his studies were not merely an academic experience, but the foundation of his entrepreneurial journey.
Today, he sees his journey as a combination of entrepreneurial boldness, structured thinking and the courage to explore new fields – including those that are only just beginning to emerge.
“Flexibility helps you adapt. Discipline helps you achieve.“
Boštjan began his studies with the aim of building on his existing knowledge and developing a broader understanding of how organisations work, how ideas are put into practice and how knowledge can lead to tangible change.
His studies broadened his perspective and taught him to connect different fields, understand processes as a whole and recognise the importance of communication, organisation and strategic thinking when introducing new solutions.
Today, as Adviser to the Minister for Digitalisation and AI at the Ministry of Agriculture, his work brings together digital transformation, artificial intelligence, the public sector and future development challenges. He uses his knowledge to create solutions that are not only technologically advanced, but also practical, clear and achievable.
“Always look on the bright side of life.“
Driven by curiosity and a desire to understand, explore and ask better questions, Petra chose to study to strengthen the discipline, perseverance and focus needed to turn ideas into purposeful action.
Her studies sharpened her strategic outlook and taught her to set clearer priorities and make more decisive choices. Most importantly, she discovered how the quality of a question can shape the quality of an answer — and, ultimately, a decision.
Today, Petra runs her own consultancy, combining professional expertise with analytical thinking and intuition. She applies what she learnt to entrepreneurship, using a more focused and confident approach to guide her work.
“My world supports me and works in my favour. I trust myself.“
Primož wanted to build on his knowledge and connect it with real-world experience. During his studies, he particularly valued working on practical cases, which allowed him to apply what he learned immediately.
His studies strengthened his belief that education and discipline are the foundations of success. They taught him to break complex challenges into manageable parts while keeping a clear focus on the goal.
Today, he commands the 18th CBRN Battalion, a specialised military unit, where strategic thinking, determination, and the ability to manage complex situations are part of his everyday work.
“Standards do not uphold themselves – people uphold them.“
Jaka began his studies without a detailed plan for the future, but with a clear desire for practical and useful knowledge. Step by step, he began to discover what genuinely interested him.
Through practical cases, teamwork and new challenges, he developed critical thinking, confidence and the ability to find solutions. His studies helped him turn uncertainty into a clearer sense of direction.
Today, he is continuing his academic journey with a master’s programme in Psychology. His experience has taught him that you do not need to have every answer in advance – sometimes, taking the first step is enough.
“When you find your why, every how reveals itself.“
Vanja chose marketing because it combined many of the things she was interested in – people, psychology, strategy and creativity. During her studies, she gained a better understanding of consumer behaviour and communication, but also became more confident in herself and her abilities.
Today, she works as a sales team leader, where she uses much of what she learned in a different way – through working with and leading people. For Vanja, good leadership means understanding what motivates people, communicating openly and helping others develop.
What she values most is seeing her team members grow, take on new challenges and succeed.
“When you help others grow, you grow too.“
