Artificial intelligence is increasingly changing the way we learn and study. It opens up new opportunities for access to knowledge and learning support. At the same time, it raises important questions: how can we use artificial intelligence responsibly, how can we preserve critical thinking, and how can we ensure that technology does not become a shortcut instead of a path to genuine knowledge?
During the week of 8–11 September 2026, UNESCO Digital Learning Week is taking place in Paris; this year’s event is dedicated to education in the age of artificial intelligence (AI). The focus will be on how AI is already transforming education and how schools, universities, governments and teachers should respond to it. To mark this occasion, we at DOBA UAS have also prepared content designed to highlight the opportunities and challenges of using artificial intelligence in learning and teaching.
The main event will be the webinar “How to Study with Artificial Intelligence: From Shortcuts to Genuine Learning”, hosted by Dr Andreja Lavrič. The webinar will take place on 10 September at 19.00, online. Sign up!
