Prof. Dr Rasto Ovin is a renowned Slovenian economist. From 2014 to 2023, he served as Dean of DOBA Faculty, where he continues to teach. He also lectures as a visiting professor at numerous universities abroad.
He frequently comments on economic developments on radio and television and also contributes columns to the Slovenian newspapers Večer and Finance.
He has also demonstrated his expertise in economics beyond academia. He has served as a member of the Strategic Council of several Governments of the Republic of Slovenia, Deputy President of the Fiscal Council of the Republic of Slovenia, and Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Nova Ljubljanska banka.
